Laborer (Temporary)
Job Description
The Laborer performs tasks that require mainly physical abilities and effort involving little or no specialized skill or prior work experience. The following tasks are typical of this occupation: The Laborer loads and unloads trucks, moves supplies and materials to proper location, stacks materials for storage or binning, collects refuse and salvageable materials. The Laborer excavates, shovels, buries cables, cleans culverts and ditches, cuts tree and brush; operates power lawnmowers. The Laborer moves and arranges heavy pieces of test equipment and range assets and other types of machinery. The Laborer cleans up range and laboratories following test execution.
Skills Needed:
- Ability to mow, trim, weed, paint and perform basic housekeeping responsibilities.
- Ability to operate power tools/equipment for various mowers, weed-eaters and blowers.
- Ability to ride a boat for range clearance.
Desired Qualifications: Work outdoors. Self-motivated.
